Descent

That was her second welcoming to this life. She collided once again into jagged earth, showered from above with liquids. The creature groaned out as colour drained from the impacted wound. She couldn’t tell you why she did it. A flooding sensation of muscle and tension begged to taste the creatures anguish, so she sunk a thirsty jaw into tendons.

The tension melted away and her jaw fell lax. The creature crumbled down before her with a sickening sound and shattered it’s frail bones. Silence fell like a film across the now tainted earth.

She couldn’t help but feel this was the wrong choice…
